I want joehoms.com to be usable by everyone who comes here. That includes people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom, or voice control, and people who need more contrast or less motion.
I am working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. I wrote this in October 2026. It is a statement of what I am aiming for and what I already know is imperfect. It is not a certification. No one has certified this site.
What I check
I check the pages with automated tools and with a keyboard. The checks look at contrast, names for images and buttons, headings, form labels, and whether the pages can be used without a mouse. Automated tools miss things a person would catch, so if you find one of those, I want to hear about it.
What is still limited
Some pieces of this site are other companies’ products, and I do not control how they are built:
- YouTube players and the Google review cards
- Calendly, which opens when you book a call
- Meetup, on the training page
Those embeds can fall short of the same standard. The short films I host myself, including the drone flight on the homepage, do not have captions or a transcript. If I add one, I will link it from the page. I will not pretend a third-party player has captions when I cannot confirm that.
Tell me what broke
If a page, a form, a video, or a document gets in your way, email me or call. Tell me the page address and what you were trying to do. I will look at it and fix what I can.
